Arc received from the author in exchange for an honest review.
"My hair blows into his and for a moment we are truly alone behind a curtain of fluttering brown. His lips meet mine even though the train is nowhere to be seen and I feel tears pool in my eyes. It feels like the first time, no wine, no reason, just to kiss and to feel close to each other."
Iris Ellis is a young journalist who visits a seaside town to
interview screenwriter Paul Archer. Before Iris can even start the
interview chemistry between her and Paul spark.
**Driftwood Deeds is a hot BDSM novella that is 82 pages long.**
Let me start off by saying that I really liked this novella. It was
for sure different from the other short story erotica, in a good way. I
liked how well written it was and how there was no rushed feeling that I
usually get with novellas. It had nice sensory detail which can be lost
in books like this one.
I liked the characters too. Paul Archer is not your typical dominant
with washboard abs. Paul is older than Iris and it wasn’t a big deal to
either characters. Iris was honest with herself about her feelings, and
in other books you don’t see that very often.
The ONLY issue I found was that whole sudden love
thing. It just makes it seem a little unrealistic. Otherwise this book
would have been 5 stars for me.
I recommend this book for those who like BDSM, novellas, and age differences.
