“Ever been so happy for someone and so aware of how lonely their happiness makes you feel at the same time?”
Sarah Miller and Will Price had been best friends in high school.
Sarah couldn’t help falling for her charming, playful, and good looking
best friend. Seven years later Sarah hasn’t had a relationship since HIM
and is a workaholic for a job she hates. Her brother is getting married
and Sarah goes home for the first time in seven years only to find out
Will Price, the boy who broke her heart, is the best man.
It was really hard for me to rate this book because I wanted to love
it so much. I can’t help but love best friends falling in love stories
but this book did not meet my expectations.
The beginning of the book was great and had me captured but I feel
like author just wrote as she was going and just kept coming up with
things that didn’t make much sense.
The past and the present we not synced at all and it bothered me so
much! I ended up skimming the end of the book because I got so
frustrated.
Character wise I loved Will but hated Sarah. She was so whinny and immature.
Again my hopes were high and i think 3.5 rating was sort of generous
(I put 3 stars on goodreads). There are many other books with the
similar best friends fall in love idea that I would recommend those
first before this one.
